Dr. Charif Toufik
IDr. Toufik Charif graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Institute of Veterinary Sciences in 2003. Immediately after graduation, he began practicing veterinary medicine by establishing his first private clinic in Khelil, Bordj Bou Arreridj, where he built a strong reputation for his dedication to animal health and client service.
In 2014, Dr. Charif was appointed Project Manager overseeing the manufacture of livestock feed and the construction of hydroponic chambers for the germination of grains used in animal nutrition. That same year, he began teaching part-time at the University of Blida, where he was responsible for courses in semiology and reproductive clinic, later earning a Master’s degree (Master 2) in Animal Reproduction from Blida 1 University in 2016.
From 2017 to 2020, he also served as a part-time lecturer at the National Higher School of Veterinary Medicine (ENSV), in charge of the rural veterinary clinic, where he contributed to training future veterinarians through practical field-based instruction.
Since 2017, Dr. Charif has been the owner and practicing veterinarian at the 3CMA Veterinary Clinic in Koléa, Tipaza, providing advanced medical and reproductive care for companion and farm animals.
Vice-President of the Algerian Veterinary Space Foundation (EVA/AVSF) since 2019, Dr. Charif has remained actively engaged in professional and scientific development initiatives within Algeria’s veterinary community.
In 2022, he expanded his professional scope by founding Vetobiopharm, a veterinary pharmaceutical production company, where he leads research and development efforts aimed at advancing locally produced veterinary medicines and supporting the growth of Algeria’s animal health industry.
